I'm just expressing my opinion here and I'm not intending to start any sort of arguments or bad feeling, these things tend to turn into slanging matches so easily and that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm just interested to know what some features don't exist on the forum and if there are any future plans.

I remember on the CPC original forums I was able to add pictures to my signature and with this I had my rig as a picture and also see others, thought it was a nice feature. I remember there being limits on size and stuff but since the merge with Bit-tech, did this disappear?

A lot of forums now offer a lot more profile customisation, for example. overclock dot net allow click able PC profiles where you can display multiple rigs. I think this is a pretty good idea although that example may not be great seeing as the Website does look a tad messy. Others may(probably will!) disagree, but I think it's a nice feature to display builds with in signatures as opposed to just bblinks to worklog pages.

I understand there is overhead with new features but bit-techs forum just seems to be a bit outdated especially when it comes to profile features. Bit-tech is easily the PC forum that I visits most regularly and it's a massive community. There have been huge advancements in social integration with forums and it would be nice to know what plans there are for the future.

I wholeheartedly apologise if this has been brought up in another thread and already answered, I did have a quick search and couldn't find a definitive answer :D

Please no! Pictures in signatures?! I avoid forums that allow this as it makes the threads really hard to read, big signatures are bad enough.

You can add albums to your profile to show off your setup.

Having cone from CPC myself, I much prefer the lack of images in signatures. Having the way it is gives it an easy to read layout. Excess images will clutter the thread.

OC.net do have a good system. If a rig signature could be made as a drop down box it would be great. Having said this, I doubt BT would want to appear to be 'copying' another forum.

Bit-Tech's forum could do with a little sprucing up though, bring it more inline with other related boards.

I like it as-is because it's uncluttered and easy to read. The forum doesn't need features and gimmicks to bring in a readership!

The only thing that needs changing is the SEARCH!

I can't speak for any future forum advancements, however pictures in the signature area won't be happening anytime soon if I can help it.

There's nothing wrong with it. It sometimes just feels a little dated compared to the main site.

These forums are HEAVILY customized to be integrated into the site front page too. It would require a major redevelopment overhaul I would expect.

As for pics in sigs - bit-tech has never allowed it since day 0 because it always gets voted out when the topic gets brought up.
