We've recently been hit with massive spam attacks by people likely scraping the site for slop generators. this is what's led to the recent slowdowns on the forums. rubber ducking with @yuusou has led me to an nginx fix which should block the vast majority of the idiots, keeping the forums nice and snappy. Until the next fire.
