The models are generally more accurate for higher-end cars, namely the exotics and pseudo-supercars, because that seems to be the game's focus for progress. However, if you look at some of the other vehicle models the game offers, it's a different story. For example, I noticed that the Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32 model in Forza 2 was almost entirely recycled from that of the first Forza Motorsport on the Xbox--the headlights are gigantic. The BNR34 Skyline wasn't much better (compare with the one in my signature in GT4). Wheels and front lip spoilers were often disproportionate for many cars, I find. A lot of shortcuts were made for the rear areas of most cars as well, like the fenders, rear bumpers, and some spoilers/wings.

On the other hand, Turn 10/Megasoft did include a number of tuner classics, such as the Top Secret JZA80 Supra, although I find that it was an attempt to broaden the target audience beyond the conventional EA-style arcade players. And at the same time, I can't help but think that the 'simulation' pitch was heavily condensed to accommodate for as many exotics as possible--generally not the flavour of most seasoned racers. Example: the ATTESA E-TS AWD active differential driving computer model was recreated on the PS2's Gran Turismo 4 for cars equipped with the real-life system (Skyline GT-Rs, specifically). Not quite for the Forza Motorsport franchise, and God knows for what other cars they omitted other highly influential technical attributes.

It's an agreeably good game, but not a great one. Just my CAD$0.02.

If anyone is any good at making human bodies on here, I could really use a hand. I've got some more done to my car but want to have some severed body parts somewhere on it. :D

If you can lend a hand, shoot me a message on XBL (Major Suckage) and I'll gift the car over.

You can't link directly to images on the FM2 website mate. Need to save them and then upload to an image hosting site.

Note to self: Buy Forza 2 just for the car painting. Looks like you can easily spend hours upon hours just with this function. This is something I would like to see in GT5 for sure.
