I have a Q6600 CPU with the stock heatsink. Recently i noticed the word "Foxconn" on the label on top of the heatsink.

Also i have an Intel DP45SG motherboard. On onboard sound card part also i saw the word "Foxconn".

Isnt foxconn a different Computer hardware manufacturrer? If so why does Intel have the name Foxconn all over their products?

I think most motherboards will have Foxconn parts on them, I know mine does.

foxconn are an OEM who supply alot of intel support stuff, ie the heatsink, cpu sockets, and other support chips.

they also make the ipod touch/iphone if you are interested

Are Foxconn products such as Motherboards, graphic cards good?
Haven't seen much people using them.

not really. youll find them in things like Dell PCs - they are an OEM so they are usually no-brand components sold on by others.

however, they have got 1 or 2 MBs out there which are decent (blood rage springs to mind).

foxconn own the equipment to make a lot of electronics, but other companies provide them with the designs.

Foxconn motherboards and such tend to be budget items, but very well made and stable if left at stock speeds. They kinda backed out of the high end market a few years back, but never really had a presence at the top either.

I think maybe there are behind XFX and EVGA boards at the moment.
