Well. I've had a terrible shot with modding due to impatients and trying to have to complex of a watercooling system with a bad reservior. So. Ont my final attempt at something simple. The case- Antec p180 I chose this case because it has 4 120mm fans which mean i can add 4 120mm rads without modding the case in anyway which will give me extreme performance and very low noise. It is also beautiful and has enough space for me to mount a pump without haveing to put my hd's in a 5.25inch bay.
The hardware for this case will be: Abit IC7-G Max II P4 3.2ghz Pressy 1gig (2x512mb) pc4000 Hyper-x Kingston Nvidia 6800gt PNY 256mb Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy2 Gamer Pro
Cooling for this project will be: VGA: and maybe if i feel up to it i'll finish my custom bracket for my polarflo vga block: For the CPU i will be useing a stock cooler until i finish the waterloop. When i do it will be cooled by:
ooo GREAT case youve chosen for modding, just a shame they r plastic and not alloy, but hey you cant win them all =D. look forward too seeing this case evolve.
TY and i would like to say this will be a fairly open mod with the theme being Fozzbox it can incorporate pretty much anything. I would love to here what others think would look nice on this case
Yea my current favourite case, has had alot of discussion about this case, perosnally i love it. Cant wait to c it in action. 4x120 rads
Cheaper, no disadvantage over pci-e except for futureproofing but that will still last for a few years.
My Zalman VGA HS arived in the mail today. I got it all installed but my camera is dead so no pics today. Tommorrow they will be up
UPDATE!!!!!!! 8/17 So i came home today and got what i've been waiting for with much anticipation.....MY CASE. Before you look at the pics i must say that this is an extremely goodlooking, wellbuilt case that is worth every penny i payed for it/ I know it will be very easy to mod. But enough talk. Awesome! I have really been looking forward to a P180 mod as I haven't seen one yet, they aren't that common, and the design is sweet.
As far as i can tell from ggogle searching I'm the first person to submit a watercooling mod with this case which blows me away since it has a potential of 5 120mm rads.... I plan on getting 4
