    Heya
I want to get a program to record video/take stills during gaming, but the demo version of Fraps limits video to 30seconds.:sigh: and im not going to pay $37 for the proper version, because that seems far too much. Are there any alternatives?

Pirating the full version of Fraps is NOT an alternative :hehe:

Camstudio is pretty good in Windows, never used it during games though.

You could always try Xfire though, it has a built in video recorder now, haven't used it myself, but I can't say i have heard anything bad about it.

    xfire +1
I haven't recorded videos with it, but a few of my friends have gotten nice ones which they've shown me... braggers! :D Plus it adds the chat/mic ability ingame.

XFire does screens, videos, in-game voice chat, tracks gameplay time and more.
If you're a gamer with gamer friends, get XFire and get them to as well :)
