One of the most unusual - and in honesty - coolest things I've witnessed. For every order over £15 in value, the guys over at Kustom PCs will allow you to claim a free bar of either macaroon or tablet!

Just a cheap marketing trick? Not at all, it seems this curious offer was spawned by a throng of people on the Kustom forums, unsure of such oddities as 'tablet' and 'macaroon'.

Best hurry if you want to partake in the offer though, ends midnight sunday!

Read the Kustom news post with all the details, and having trawled through the Kustom forums for a while, the forums page from whence this seems to have all started. Just to mention, Kustom only accept orders from folks in the UK - so sorry to rest of world + dog who wanted a taste of the action.

Okay, I'll bite... WTF is "Tablet"? Also, I've had macaroon cookies, but never bars. Are they the same thing?

tablet = sugar, vanilla and condensed milk boiled down and set into the single sweetest substance on earth...

Macaroon bar = like kendle mint cake...without the mint...and covered in chocolate and dessicated coconut.

    No not like caramac...more...gritty.

Some people think of macaroons as a cake/biscuit thing made out of doughy-coconutty stuff with a little choc on top.

    Like sand? YUM! :) :worried:

Macaroons to me are gooey-biscuits made out of eggs, sugar and coconut, sometimes almonds.

Try the macaroon bars gents. As far as I can see, in Scotland it is called tablet, in England it is called Fudge!

    Fudge is chewy and malleable...

    Tablet is rather crumbly.

'Foo in a Box' is this weird stuff my mum makes - It's like a tablet/fudge/toffee hybrid with crushed digestives in it...

    Oddly compelling.

And Hedgehog Cake - crushed digestives, melted mars bars and stuff with chocolate on the top.
