    Hey guys,

A Mac-Loving friend of mine is looking for a small (free) image resizer to get some of her pictures in some sort of album or something (yes I listen tons...)
anyway the windows equivalent of Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) would do jolly nice, anyone got any ideas?

    photoshop...

use file->automate->web photo gallery (well in windows thats where it is). Adjust settings on the large images as needed and then just ignore the small ones.

oops, sorry, missed the "free" part.

Try Graphic Converter, I've used the OS9 version (and below) for years. It's shareware but with an unlimited trial period. I actually own a copy, but spent a few years in the "trial" phase.

    Good Luck!
