So ive just got back from the gadget show, It was great, Scan had a great stand and while i was browsing through what they were showing a nice lady came up and asked if she could scan my ticket, which she did and then explained that i would now get free delivery for life, no need to sign up to anything. Nice little perk i thought, i know you can get free del via various forums but i thought it was still a nice touch. Before anybody asks i didnt buy anything I think the whole event should have been renamed 'The 3d Show Live' as that seemed to be the running theme i found. Some systems were great some were very poor!
Wish newegg would do something like this.... or any US retailers really, shipping over here gets to be insane pretty quick
How do you get the free delivery through them? Did you get a code or something to use? Nice idea though, especially as Scan delivery can be expensive compared to Ebuyer. It makes them really uncompetitive sometimes. I'm getting sick of hearing about 3D!
Bestseany - if you want free shipping from Scan, simply make an account on Hexus.net and make 20 non-spam posts. You can then register that account with a Scan account and get free shipping for all orders which are £20+vat.
Im guessing they use the details from the ticket and tie it to the address used, i havent tried yet as ive already spent all my hardware budget for the year But like ph4zed says its quite simple to get free del if you sign up to hexus forums.
