My wife breeds and shows guinea pigs and needs something to keep track of their lines. Family tree software would be ideal for this, does anyone know or use any free or relatively cheap ones? I'm not interested in any yearly plans or similar though.
It's maybe a little old, but... The coverdisc from PC Direct, August 2000. Family Origins v4.0. Or... PC Magazine, September 2000. Probably the same software, to be honest... Ah! This one's a little newer: Personal Computer World, July 2002 - GSP Family Tree. Or go further back: PC Answers, February 1998 - Cumberland Family Tree. (Got a whole bunch of ISOs waiting to be uploaded to the Internet Archive!)
