Hi Guys, Could someone tell me if there are free hosting sites available for downloads, similar to those that host photo,s for people.I have searched google but they all seem to be picture/ photo hosting or free webs space.
Hello there, I'm not sure what language you want it in but take a look at www.planetsourcecode.com Check for database manipulation and storing images in a database etc. I download alots of ASP code from there and study and learn from it.

What i meant was, When you want to post a picture/photo on forums you normally use free hosting....e.g photo bucket, Now, these normally only host pictures, what i want is somewhere that will host files for download,..e.g i have just made some "mame" screen savers if someone on this forum wanted them i would be able to post a link so that they can dowload them, but i would need them to be hosted. Hope this explains, sorry for the confusion.
Hosting packages are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cheap these days, just go pick one up for a few quid/dollars! Easier all round
No No, Just trying to find some where to host small files for download, as RTT says they are incredibly cheap so i may just purchase one. The thing is i am currently with blueyonder which gives you 30mb of free web space, i have been on the phone to them a few times trying to get info on what you can and can't use it for, it is a bit like trying to pull teeth. I think it is a wages thing, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
