Send your order number to the customer service email in the post above with a link to this thread and they will sort a refund for the postage. not an elegant way but one that works for the moment
Choose the next day delivery, then either pm me the order number or email through to custservice@cclonline.com with your order number and a link to your Bit tech account.
Is this still the case for getting free next day delivery. Also do I want to select "Next Day (Tomorrow)" (currently showing up as £5.99) - if so, who will deliver it (what company) ? Cheers
Unfortunately still the case, and yes please choose the one that says tomorrows date, also if it doesn't mention a courier it is likely that City-Link Will be the couriers.
Hmmm - that puts me off a little. I've not had great experiences with citylink in the past. If it had been DPD I would have been happier as I've only ever had good experiences with them (and their texts giving 1hr delivery slots!)
Just to check, are we still best off phoning up and ordering if we want to get the free next day delivery directly (rather than through a refund of shipping charges)?

From messages above it looks like it's broken and you have to contact them directly. I've also set up an account correctly (AFAIK) but I had to select free economy delivery (not in a rush anyway this time, but if I was I'd try phoning to place order). Didn't want hassle of paying for next day and then having to claim refund (and have risk there would be a problem in getting it).
I received an email from CCL today. Free delivery for web ordering is suspended with no indication of when (if) it will be resumed. I was told they will honour free delivery if you place your order over the phone.
Received another e-mail today saying that free postage on internet orders should now be improved and working again!
Good news Just put something into my basket to test this out and it comes up with "You qualify for free next day delivery for bit-tech members!", so it indeed seems to be fixed. Took a long time but better late than never I've emailed them to ask if they will upgrade my existing order to next day so it'll arrive before I'm out of the country (others will be at home to receive delivery but I don't trust them to properly check it for damage!)
