    Hi all,

    My friend has had her photos deleted from her laptop is there any good free recovery software?

    Try Recuva first. It is pretty effective. Please use the portable version on a usb stick. Do not do any more installations or new file writes if at all possible to ensure the highest chance of recovery.

    Yup, I would recommend Recuva too.

    If Recuva doesn't work, you could also try PhotoRec...
