i kid you not, as soem of you may know i have way too much time on myhand & i wired up an old anologe system to get me free music channels all legally as well well you can do the same with digital as well (harder & not as much choice tho) seriousely if you point your dish @ the anologue position that seems to carry a few channels but you need a step ladder & keep moving the dish, even then sky dont like it & crash your box:cries: this is the site i got the info from http://www.btinternet.com/~c.vowles/Sat/SkyExtra19East.htm but for someone like me, get a box off e-bay cheap & get the free channels splitting the incoming signal off my anologe dish between the 2 decoders & use the anologe for free channels that you legally get, use the sky digi for the free legal channels (the epg is near enough useless tho) & use my itv digi decoder to run my FTA english channels think i have too much time on my hands & i know how to do all this but tis a shame i only have a little 14" tv
ive been doing this sort of thng for years, used to look through the freqencys when the anolgue decoder in my room was wired up downstairs, in its hay-day the sky box had ever single one of its 125 channels tuned in with something different now it resides in my bedroom pulling in signals from europe, most of it is in english & a good few music channels, i still have my nokia on-digital box wired up to my tv for digital terrestrial & im planning to get abasic cable package in here when i move onto broadband the only problem is i have a tiny room with a tiny tv but 8 romotes kicking round the place
