I've asked around to see if theres a free dialup internet in the UK like America has, but no-one seems to have found one. After searching on google I found one here.

However, is there a catch or something? I tried the service for a few minutes and it works. I then phoned BT and asked if they have charged me for the dialup, but they havent.

I want to use it in my bedroom at the sixth form cos the T3 internet over wireless from vodafone we are supposed to have doesnt work, we cannot get broadband cos we are in the middle of no-where. So we are stuck with a 56K connection for the whole school....

    What do u think?

0845 is a low-call number, means its charged at the local call rate.
    this isn't free.

Back from school at last, the internet there is bloody slow, cant get T3, it f***ed up :(. But I managed to get free internet via my mobile phone connected by bluetooth. If u have a certain O2 Simcard, u get free GRPS, use that number on the computer connected to the mobile, and u get free internet at 115.2k. Why didnt I think of that before???
