    -- Edit --

OK The load programs are good(F@H and/or SuperPi). Could some one remind me which temp monitor doesn't have the Dell Ultrasharp bug and does log file writing?
Logs max temp and such and has auto shutdown if temps reach X degrees.

HWinfo64 or 32 has both logging and temp alarm/shutdown option. Also you can interface it with rainmeter if you want something more attractive looking.

    Core Temp Cheesecake.

Logs as you like 'em, shutdown that can be customised, nice light interface.

Thanks guys, does any one remember which one has the bug that messes with Dell monitors?
I will check my post history but it was some where between a year and two years ago when I had the issue.

    ---Edit-- It was Speedfan!

"The ultimate question is what SpeedFan has to do with locking your monitor. Clearly SpeedFan execute DDC/CI call to the monitor, with the API code to lock the menu." -Response from Goodbyte when I post the fix from the Dell customer forums.
