Well, changed the led's to blue in my dvdrom and floppy. When i tried the floppy was getting errors and no light. Decied to put the green back in to see if that was the trouble. While making the switch the foil trace on one side of the led came up too 8/ So i'd say that drive is history now. Anyway scrounged in my old stuff and came up with another, put the blue led and it seems to be working fine (biege tho). Now i need to find a replacement for the led in my burner. It looks like a bi-color, green and red with amber on a reverse leg or something. Anybody nkow where to get one of these in blue/red. US site plz. Batteries are dead on camera so ill post some pics later of floppy and dvd. I used the 3mm ones from Ellectronix Express, they are pretty bright so are the 5mm ones in the fan. Looks to be worth the $1.60 each. peace. UnLoadeD
