My inspiration for this came from Pugs Dragon mod. I picked up some perforated metal, aluminum, and just yesterday started cutting. There are a few things I need to touch up, which once I get some scrap 2x4 I can carve into shape. Currently the metal is only being held in by friction. I just noticed in the photo where the metal took a bit of a scrap, I'll have to try to buff it out. I plan to leave the aluminum raw, and not paint it. I also plan to continue the carbon fiber decal down the rest of the front of the case. Also the "ribbing" on the bottom of the case is going to be cut off, and replaced with the metal. Once that is done, I will likely put an LED fan behind it, and possibly some LEDs around the door (of course, I won't be able to remove the door then...) All the cutting was done with a hacksaw for the case front, and tin snips for the metal. Let me know what you think, and of any improvements. I do have a few bits that need to be hammered a little more, but I need something smaller than the 2x6 that makes up my deck railing first... Jason A.
