Electronics Front USB Ports On Me Lian-Li??

hm well i tried this in the modding forums with no luck i hope someone can help me out, i have KuDoZ 7 mobo and it has headers for 4 more usb ports, whichi wanna use for the front of my new Lian-Li, trouble is there are two sets of five pins for each 2 ports like this

whereas the lian instructions have it like

and that is the amout of connectors there are tehre are 8 things to connect up but 10 pins

Your mobo has two GND for each port whereas the Lian Li only needs one - just leave one of the GNDs on the mobo unconected.

So for each port GND - GND, D+ - D+, D- - D- and +5V to USB power red.

well i tried that but no go i connected them up properly and tried many times but they would not work, wen i plugged my mouse into them it lit for about a second then died and didn't work on them, mouse works fine tho

 

i NEVER figured out how to do this, so i hjut thought sod it lol. Can somone draw an mspaint picture or somtthing?

 

i am gonna have another bash at it later, if i do it i'll post something mate

That's what i said do, you just needed to get the right GND.

 

yeah i see, just use the end gnd pin on each set of connections

Damn this didnt work

I have an abit kg7 raid, there is only one extra USB header. It looks like this

 

any ideas?

 

yeah feeble i had 2 extra, they are just grounds which are not needed
