    I have a Q6600 CPU.

    When overclocking which is better?
Lower multiplier with a higher FSB or higher multiplier with lower FSB?

What are the pros and cons of each?

    Which will produce more heat?

if u know any extra info about FSB and multiplier which will help in overclocking pls state them too

pls try to answer all the questions.
    thx in advance

x9 multi.. the voltage depends on the batch- been awhile but try 9x and run dram : fsb 1 : 1

depending on how far you can push the fsb, your ram will be running (qdr / 4) * 2 (for ddr2).. voltages will vary on batch.. you'll get best results like that though- even faster ram you can get really low timings @ 1T, which if you test the copy speeds you'll see is on par or beats faster speeds + higher timings.. least with ddr2

Nilushan, I'm not intending to sound mean,... but, why couldn't you have simply bumped one of your many previous threads instead of starting a new one?

I find this insulting, I put time into explaining this and all you do is ask it again.
