Hi! I'm back with my work after some lazy days. Unfortunately I had to change the concept of measuring the current - I was not able to rebuild the PSU in such a way that I could monitor well and safe all the currents in 3,3V, 5V and 12V lines.

Instead of this I installed another ampermeter that will monitor the total current of the machine. I also exchanged the voltmeter. The new one is more suitable for monitoring the 3,3V 5V and 12V voltages and the voltages of fans.

Here are some pics of cabling - rear of the front panel

The black arrow indicates the molex plug which you plug to the PSU line to monitor the voltages
    [IMG]

    I bought a new 420W PSU
    [IMG]

And made the cabling to measure the total current. The black arrow indicates the output to the gauge
    [IMG]

And made some paintjob to FDD and DVD - first black spraypaint and then some rust

Powodzenia. )

    Good luck.!

That heavy rusted stuff is awesome!
But the rest of the case looks a bit too normal compared to it.

This is a truly sweet theme... I love the subtle details like the metal plate behind the power switch. That's what makes the difference. Perhaps the sides are not as rusty because they are painted? the front is bare metal so that would help explain...maybe the sides are protected. Rust 'trails' comind down from the eagle on the side would be sweet...complete the effect.

    Nice work tho.

Thanks 4 opinion. The problem of "too clean sides" is already well known ;) if you saw some posts above. I don't stop to think about it but I wait until I put everything together. Then we'll see what is realy missing. I have prepared 2 more gadgets to mount on the top and on the side of the cover so I train mine patience ;)

Yesterday I prepared some lighting (16 LEDs) for inside. I'm not sure if its enough.....?

I want also the gauges to be visable in the dark so I put a LED inside both dials

looking really good, to be honest i didnt expect any of this when i read your startpost :naughty:

maybe it would be nice if you'd put plexi behind the eagle on the side, and sand the edges... that way the light will be diffused much better.
