Electronics Full Can TTL Crystal Oscillator

    Are these about the same as crystal oscillators, in interfacing, that are of standard HC49 and tuning fork cases? Or are they stand alone components that just require a buffer/driver and no external matching capacitors to help reach desired frequency?

    They've just the 4 pins for 5V, 0V and Out, 4th NC.
    Ones at Rapid (UK) will drive 10 TTL, so I guess the buffer is included too. :)

    Full can=fit 14-pin DIL socket, Half can=8-pin socket.
