Well, i'm excited for you. What plans have you got for it?

 

I have many, many plans. First thing will be to get the engine, gearbox and possibly differential oil changed, new oil/air filter, new NGK spark plugs etc. basically just give it a good service. Then I'll get a CD player and new speakers in there.

That will probably be it for a while, but future ideas include: new steering wheel (stock one's a bit big), Black Diamond or EBC grooved front brake discs, EBC brake pads, stainless steel exhaust, cold-air intake, lightweight 15x6.5" alloys (Volk Racing if I end up particularly rich, something cheaper if not), Goodyear Eagle F1 or Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres, high-flow intercooler, better radiator, boost gauge, blow-off valve, increase the boost...

The list goes on. I doubt I'll do most of it, but it's nice to dream

I just found "the one" Quite high mileage (78k), but absolutely top notch condition, no rust, undersealed, recent cam belt, spark plugs, air filter, tyres, exhaust, spotless interior etc etc.

Compared to my 1.2 I'm used to, it goes like stink

Phoning the seller tomorrow to arrange collecting it

 

Picked it up today, it's awesome Needs road tax so I've got to wait for my insurance certificate to come through before I can drive it properly. Just sat on a drive at the moment. I'll get pics sometime soon
