Other Funny times on forums

Do people report other people alot? Kinda like telling tales to the teacher.

I've only ever reported a spammer that got through, was posting all these adverts and rude cartoons one morning.

 

The only way to keep this place relatively pleasant for everybody, with all of 90.000 users (active at this moment: 200 members and 900 guests) and only 16 or so moderators, is if people report offending posts. A good community polices itself.

 

is there a mod room where you discuss bans. (and post funny pictures?)

 

how do you know if you have been reported?

obviously, you know if AoE has reported you, but if just a normal b-t'er reports you, how do you know?

Have I been reported? A small part of me hopes I have been at least once...though then again for the most part my posts are alright so I probably haven't been

 

I bet the mod room is horrible, where mod's go to be rude about all us normals.

Their might be 16 mods but I can only think of about 8 off the top of my head who I ever see on the forum. And some of those are staff.

Thinking about it, the mods here must do a pretty good job, considering there are only ever about 4 actual mods around.

 

No. All of our communication is done by morse code. It's the only way to be sure.

Not to refuse a compliment, but the users do a good job by behaving themselves and self-policing. There is no way us mods would be able to apply our ban-sticks so leniently if the userbase wasn't well behaved.

"Viewing Thread"

And there is no thread name.

Depends. If the person is a new member that signed up to spam I report it, butI've not seen any of those for a while.

Regulars though I don't report unless they really annoy me. Every forum needs some resident spammers - hence why Kidmod isn't banned yet

 

Just remember that you can't rid of me, so what you choose to do is up to you. Be it responsible or not.
