Case Mod - In Progress FURY - bitfenix prodigy casemod -Completed 24/09

After sketching for some time, i finally decided to build my next case mod with a military theme, and mixed with some crazy ideas. This is the first time i build a colorful project, but rgb lights provide a nice touch. Watercooling is also involved, and more.

The case is a bitfenix prodigy black, itx support, very good from my opinion.

Disassembled the case, i started to cut around.





Also, the bays for PSU and mobo were removed too. I thought in a new position to show off better.

 

Meanwhile i built two test panels, to check space and support. This also let me to remove the itx mobo limitation of the case, allowing to use a mini-atx too.





Once everything was checked and tested, the final version of panels were made.




The mobo base works as removable bay, fixed by two screws.

The SSD is fixed from the rear panel, i drill the holes, then cut a little more hiding from surface.








Checking the mount holes for the psu with the bracket, then installed.

Style is more scifi than military. You confuse my tiny brain.

Two reservoirs for top...




Ran a few hours for leak test and passed.

The main reservoir located on top, will connect the different stages of the water cooling, preventing extra hosepipe and as support for the things on top. Divided in two parts, the first one was machining to make the channels, and the other one as closure.








Place other parts together.

Found this screws from a aio watercooling, so i disassembled them and modify a little, to install a better ones.




The mobo cover...

 

i like what i see, nice work.
You are using tons of acrylic ;D

The only thing i dont like is the Mobo cover, but this is a matter of taste.
I personally like the electronics.

 

Is the best material to work with. About the cover, yes is a matter of taste. In any case, can be removed anytime

Finally, the pilot. Modeled with polymer clay and then airbrushed.
