Bender is back on tv baby!

News from TV squad confirming that not only is Futurama back but that it's show order has been doubled to 26 episodes to start airing next year and that all of the cast has signed back on to provide the voice talent. I could get hit by a bus today and still be in a good mood so powerful is this news to me.

Absolutely Awesome. Futurama > Family Guy > The Simpsons > American Dad.

I hope these episodes are as good as the original run and not dire like those feature length DVD movies.

I've only seen the first so far but I wouldn't call it dire. As an episode it would've been great but a film is simply too long for Futurama.

agree on this ordering. Futurama is simply the BEST american TV cartoon on earth!

Bender's big score is pretty good. the 2 in the middle are strange. Into the Green yonder is average, a good "ending".

Futurama rules. But why can't they just leave it as it is? The feature-length ones weren't that great, so I hope they don't ruin it.

I'm sure they'll do a good job, but I'm slightly worried that they might put out a crap series and wreck it completely. Either that or end up doing another 5 series of rubbish.

According to Groening they haven't exhausted all the story ideas they had before they even started the first series - I'm hoping it won't suck balls.

    ****in' A!

I just hope it's a bit better than the films; they were OK, but not up to usual standards, IMO.
