    @karbonKid, thnx :)

    @Matteh117, thnx :)

    @Hugo.B, thnx:)

    @SPQQKY, thnx :), for the larger pieces im using a jigsaw for the tubes i used a hacksaw and for the acrylic i used the dremel, and other pieces a cordless drill.

    @Cheapskate, sorry bout that kind of power posted, its taken about 2 months , ive worked on it about 6 days of each week for 8 hours or so, depending on mood and weather.

    The Candy Lids - They look injection molded, theres no seam lines at all, but theres a nippley bit up the top, they are crystal clear, and then i polished the base of them, they came out the same as clear acrylic does, so i presumed they were acrylic, i could take a closer pic of them if you want to have a better look?

    @Duste, thnx:)

    @dacust, thnx:)

    @Supra55, thnx :)

    @TNash, thnx:) roughly about 4 weeks of planing and drawing.

    @AJB2K3, thnx:), the MDF was never intended to be a case aswell, its like my tutor on the project and a place i can stuff up in because MDF is cheap to buy and replacing is easier than with ALU, im not very skilled with ALU, acrylic is my thing, so this has been one awesome learning curve for me:)

    @GAM, thnx :)

    @ssR, thnx:)

    UPDATE...

    In order to get to work on the 5.25 bay/s I had to add the mesh to the front panel (on inside), because after the 5.25's were in , getting the mesh in there would be near impossible.

    Lots of gluing.

    Now to the 5.25's....

    These are the two and they are connected to the top support beams of the frame, which will give it better stability and added strength and i also added corner pieces to the base and rivetted then to the Floor Plate.

    Only a small update, next part of the build will be the Hard Drive Caddy...I almost forgot about it completely... looked at the case and was like...where am i putting the hard drives...oh yeah thats right....youll see it in the next update;)

    Till then, thanks alot for your support and your wonderful comments, you have made my week :)

    That's most excellent work, great way to make it work without a mill, your pieces are perfectly cut (at least in the low res pics) but seriously looks great.

    @jokkos, thnx:), it was a spare of the mement type of thing, someone mentioned that they like the use of the theme all over the case, and it wasnt something i was intending to do, but now im implementing it everywhere, so I too like how its come about :)

    @wbdog206, thnx:) hope i dont disppoint.

    @DireSnake, thnx:), just the two for the moment, which are borderline to identicle, im planing on doing a tower version to support a full size board and mass storage, this one im doing now is for home theatre, my case is in a lian li mid tower, but id like to create my own case and rig it for 12+ hdd, a split pc case, nothing too fancy, but i dont think im going to mod a standard case for a long time, i just love doing this...modding rocks!!! (sorry, im very passionate about case modding)

    @[xXx] ãÇè_ƒr€áK, thnx:), i dont have a huge cash flow, so making the MDF seemed sensible thing to do....make my errors there before going over to ALU.

    @Cheapskate, thnx:) you wont have to wait long, after this post its coming lol.

    @MageOutlaw, thnx:)

    @Kyuari, thnx:)

    @SPQQKY, thnx:) i think your teaching me something aswell :)

    @mnpctech, thnx:)

    @hydro_electric_655, thnx:), i can get a high res shot of it if you want, i only convert down because other sites dont allow for 1600 x 1200 pics, but if im allowed to ill pop one up so u can have an indepth look, i dont claim the edges to be perfect, but they come close, happy to show you though :)

    @x06jsp, thnx:)

    Mini Update...

    I began working on the Hard Drive Caddy...
    For some reason i had pictured in my mind - three HDD, but that isnt going to work, so I'm down to 2, or even 1 , a 750 gig would be more than ample for this home theatre case.

    So I cut a sheet of ALU measured it up then butchered it and this is what i come up with.

    [IMG]
    The section on the left...is where the rest of the power supply will be, thats the reason for one less hard drive, I was excited about how everything was going that i forgot to add in the power supply dimensions in the drawings.

    But its not a problem, as you currently see it, it can accomodate another hard drive in front of that space, I've built it that way, but if i choose to then i can just have the one hard drive.

    [IMG]
    Putting it together...

    [IMG]
    It would of been completed, but I've run out of Rivets again...so thats now 199 rivets in the case lol. no screws yet though. It's still pretty light and its very strong.

    On a brighter note, I've started on the planing of the side panels, this is just one of a few im going to post over the weekend, and your input would be greatly appreciated over the weekend to help me decide on how the side panel is going to look.

    [IMG]

    More designs to follow over weekend.

    Seth
