It's not a record but it certainly is for the amount of time this thing has existed. Now stop wathcing the view count increment! You guys are putting more load on the server than the actual viewers of this log by continually refreshing the forum page :grr:.

Actually I think it is a record for these boards at least... zap's ammo pc thread count is wrong by around 60,000 views I think (some database mishap happened IIRC).

Anyway nm, not important - 100,000 views in a week plus the views to the static page, amazin' :D

that is one sweet mod... maybe that should be classified as a creation instead of a mod... anyway... I am new here and am in awe over what gnome has done...

I really like the vandal switches you are using... do you (or anyone else for that matter) know where I can get the series 57 mini vandal switches in the US?? or any vandal switches...

    thanks...

    keep up the amazing work...

I'll bet there will be lots of inspiration comming from this mod. At least I'm getting plenty. I didn't want to mod anymore but right now the love for it is back and the planning has started. The concept will be based on several mods I've seen in the past and of course things that are on this mod.

Eventually you will see more and more stuff that someone started. See the windows-mod, LCD, CCFL, and a lot more.

All I can say is G-gnome thanks for bringing back the modding love to me :thumb: and keep us posted on your updates. This is the mod of 2003/2004. Thinking and dreaming about something like your ORAC is one, building it is an other story.....:dremel:

:jawdrop: OMG I'm speechless! That has to be one of the greatest mods I've ever seen (sorry Macro and ZapWizard)... It's nice to see an Aussie waving the mod flag at such a high level!

Looks like Sunday for an update and more pics. :)

As much as the rather large :eeek: response to this thread is a great incentive for me to knuckle down and get stuff finished, the amount of effort I am putting into each Mod and my attention to detail takes time - Please be patient. I realise people want to see more, but constant requests for pics/updates don't seem to have any effect on my work rate :D

With updates I am aiming for quality not quantity ... a fine modding-cigar to be smoked lazily and contentedly whilst musing over life's sweet irony :hip:

I notice a lot of questions along the lines of: 'What are you going to do with this/ how you gonna do that/what are your plans for the other thing, etc'? All I can say is all will be revealed in due course ... :naughty:

Thank you to all who have posted and viewed this thread, the feedback is great!

    Cheers

Edit - Do I get a free set of Steak Knives at 150,000 hits? :)

    Best modding analogy ever.

G-gnome, yours is truly a sight to behold. This project log has been all over every single forum I read. There has been talk of submissions to /., be ready for it.

Update when you're ready. Rushing this kind of project is just asking for trouble. I'll be watching intently. :worried:

i salute you g-gnome! your work is truly genious! any chance on putting your plans up on the net so I or any other modder could make a similar box... with giving you credit of course!

I love your comp! It is definately the best mod i have ever seen.

Interested in selling plans or the box?
