Re: Please reply......
Very sorry dragon2, my email has been down the last day or so. I sent a reply but it looks like fohkus has answered your question anyway.
Definitely no laser cutting.
(dragon2 needed to answer a debate going on in an italian forum regarding the cutting of my plexi).
well done G-gnome!!!
One thing has shocked me! and thats the Danger den W/B's ?
I didnt think you'd use that style dont ask me why but i had other W/B's on the brain for your case!
ps im guessing the hdd rack cant be removed while the watercooling is in there
Re: Re: Please reply......
Well guessing its watercutting then since you get better result and havent seen any signs of you going for second rate here before .
u ppl don t like to read do you...
he cut them manually
well...with the tools he had
Sorry, usually look at these @ work. So dont have "time" to read all the texts, only the parts that im interested in... close to 1000 posts in this thread you know .
Re: Re: Re: Please reply......
All the cutting and shaping of plexi in the mod was done using one or more of the following (starting with the most commonly used items):
Hacksaw (most of the work)
Sandpaper and sanding block
Dremel cutting wheel
Router (used twice on cutting the case holes)
Bandsaw (used on only a couple of pieces before the blade broke)
Disk Sander (used once on the HDD rack mounting blocks)
That's about it.
I'm flattered folks think it looks laser or water cut
Even if you don't want to read the text, there are plenty of pictures in the logs themselves showing my cutting and shaping.
I really love your work. But I have a question that is not directly related to your masterpiece. Is it correct that you have written software to edit your projectlog?
G-gnome , can I ask you which type of digital camera you has used to take all these very nices pictures? excuse me if that question has already been asked
He's using a Sony Mavica MVC-CD500 5.0 Megapixel. Has been asked before
thank you for that quick reply and sorry asking that again
