I love how you can see the bones in the arms/hands of the.....Big handed things.... when the bright light shines through them.

I still think Ruby is hotter. All the nvidia chicks combined aren't up to par with Ruby.

Both ATI and Nvidia come out with these Demos when they release a new card. The demos basically show off new features and the high performance of the new cards.

Luna's is definately better. Very impressive.... and quite smooth on sli 6800gt's (not that they're just for watching demos :D) In any case, I've decided I can render CGI movies in realtime and development can probably stop after the 8 or 9 series, because you can't go more than real life in realism.

There will always be something more, whether it's higher res, outputting to 3d displays, or some new image quality technique like AA/AF/HDR. The GPU makers will always find some way to squeeze more power out of their chips and to accelerate more new features, and the games makers will always find new and awesome ways to soak up that power with eye candy. We love eye candy :D

I love the times we live in - I can remember the early days of computer games, and the progression in my lifetime has been incredible. Who knows what treats our children will have in store as they grow?

*still waits for real raytracing instead of this BS shader-model crap* ;)

Froggy, you're arguing over which digital chick is better looking. I'll get you a copy of poser4, you can make all the digital chicks you'd like. :)
