Im goin on friday 15th and am looking foreword to it, first event i'll have been to as well. I really want to see what Nvidia has got to offer, they're showing off Tegra and have a big 3d zone but i hope they have a bit more than just mobile tech. Am going to look at Scan too, basically i'll be trying to get round most of the pc hardware companies. Acer, HP, Samsung and WD are their too. Anyone else going?
it was ok, virtualy everything was 3D, Crysis 2 was prominant on most stalls, but mostly on console. GoW 3 mp was there plus the new mortal kombat. I got a free copy of the last Stalker game for steam, not that much hardware but it seemed like more cases and psu's on sale. Scan had a few bits there but couldn't afford their dream pc, or any of the others frankly.
Yeh it was ok I only really liked the fact i could go visit all the pc retailers i see online in person I did'nt get many freebies except an AMD and Shure Lanyard and a bag of leaflets and chocolates (not forgetting the ocz frisbee) from the nice scan lady Alot was about 3D kinda ridiculously im a bit dissapointed i did'nt spend more time in the gaming area i never saw GOW3 I plan to go to all of it next year i only had tickets for the stalls and exibitors this time round
GOW3 was in the section with a big 18 certificate sign above the entrance. There was also a life-size Alcatraz and Duke in there, too. I went on Wednesday and saw the late-starting 10.30 show, which was pretty good but if you've been before it's a bit 'more of the same', although Pollyanna looked really rather hot. The game arena was pretty big, given it takes up nearly a whole hall. Also, use the GSL app on your phone to scan the QR codes as some of them give you money off. Don't be tempted by the Viewsonic tablets as they can be bought cheaper online. Elonex tablets look promising but after having a good look at the ones that were there, they're not much cop. Queues were long for a go the test track and for Jason's book signings. I was going to go to one of the photography workshops but was too late. You can have a go on a 3DS. Oh and take plastic rather than cash
