wow £25 thats a very lovely price.

I stick with my £35 from Steam a few weeks back, I'd rather pay £10 extra and never lose my disc >.< I have a habit of doing that... took me six hours to find my CoD4 disc after a re-format a few months back!

But must say £25... Black Ops servers are going to be packed out on the PC :D

Oh and because I totally got it: FIRST >.< never said that before... muhaha

    does it include PC version?

probably useless to me :( i want PC version, and have no interest in buying another console title to qualify.

Not when they are charging £40 for the other game in the bundle, most of which can be bought a lot cheaper than that elsewhere!

Looks like it's just PS3 & 360 versions although the PC version is cheaper anyway @ £35 from Game.

Has anyone ever been to one of those midnight launch thingies?

Might just be me but i really dont understand why you would be out that late, shopping, when you could be at home sitting in front of the pc.... :geek:

:sigh: Have i been missing out on something special all these years or are these releases only destined for spotty >30 yr olds and sugar-jacked up teenagers?

As long as your after "new" games i would have to agree with you, but from time to time you can find some pretty good bargains in their second hand areas...i picked up assassins creed 2 GOTY edition for a tenner, fallout 3 GOTY for a tenner.....another good place to look for seconds is Blockbuster but i guess if you want it straight away you have to be willing to pay the price, that said its allways worth shopping around to find the cheapest. i usually compare between www.play.com, tesco and sainsburys.:thumb:

.... but once your register your retail copy on steam you never need the disc again anyway, so..... thats an extra £10 for nothing!

Wanna get the Call of Duty: Black Ops, Standard Edition on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 for £24.99 and a perfect choice for every one.

Is that a spam website question or that you want to get Black Ops at that price? I don't want the game, the cheating on MW2 got annoying after a while.

To be honest, I have to agree, when I was a student the £10 price premium would have been too much, but with steam you get a lot of benefits, immediate download, no need to swap discs to play different games [this is by far the biggest isse for me as I play quite a few games], the losing/damaging isn't an issue for me, as I'm fairly organised.

patching is also generally easier with steam, it just makes sense to have all your games in one place, so i'll pay a little premium if i have to or just wait for the sales

i have a ps3 but rarely buy anything for it because its so much more expensive

But the premium *just* for a steam copy is pointless - it's a steamworks game so you only need to stick the key from the retail copy into steam to add it to your library. You don't even need the disc, just the key.

That's a fantastic price for Black Ops. Not played MW2, as stuck with BFBC2 up until now but at £25 its very hard to say no!

To be honest it's worth that price just for zombies, if you have mates. Most hilarious game mode ever.
