    Hi All

I have recently bought a Zotac GTX 570, brilliant card but many games wont run right with it. i get various different crashes: lockups some permanent, radomly exiting, BSOD and quite often when the game crashes i will be left with the last sound the game made never stopping till i restart. I have sometime seen the 'windows has recovered your display driver' during these crashes as well.

    My specs
Mobo, Asus M3A79-T Deluxe, bios updated, OC'd but tested without OC
CPU, Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition 3GHz, zalman cooler
    RAM, OCZ 4GB ddr2 1066MHz
    PSU, Xilence 700W
Graphics, Zotac GTX 570, 280.26 driver clean install, NO OC
    Sound, Asus xonar DS

    Suspect
    RAM or Graphics
Graphics, because normaly its a graphic dropout
RAM because RAMcheck threw up some errors, not quite sure how much trouble RAM errors cause but i have made note of what errors RAMcheck threw up.

    Other tests i have done
Temps and PSU, i ran both prime 95 and furmark at the same time to test temperatures and PSU stability at load, temps got a bit toasty but never conked out.

    Thanks
    Luke

probably be a good idea to fix the ram errors.. maybe a faulty stick or your not getting enough/too much voltage to the sticks

Its the likely the 280 driver, did you ever have this on the 275 driver? i get the same issue sometimes with my GTX 460 with the same message, either remove/re-install it or go back to the 275 driver.

    thanks for the replies
Il try the 275 driver and il look into the RAM voltages.

Will post again after some testing

    Cheers again

Finally got the time to make the changes, still not stable but more so then it was.
I think the RAM made the real difference finding that it should run at 2.1v - 2.2v and im assuming the auto setting wasnt giving it that.

Though its now more stable, after playing the witcher 2 for while it starts to play up again though not straight away. Playing a few hours of supreme commander was absolutely fine though, im assuming its because the witcher 2 is that more demanding.

So im gona try memtest again and see if it still throws up errors, if it does maybe thats where the problem lies.

Any other suggestions would be welcomed

    Cheers
