Couldn't find another thread for this so... Yahtzee in a side project to Zero Punctuation I thought it was pretty rubbish. Yahtzee's cynicism seems put-on, the skits aren't funny, etc etc. Thought, anyone?
I watched it.. Eh. I think, for me at least, the entertainment value of Yahtzee has long gone. The cynic in me doesn't see this lasting.
I watched that this morning, I was mostly unimpressed as well, I think Yahtzee is a lot funnier when he's talking fast, I still love zero punctuation. And the guy on the right just had that 'thing' about him that made me want to punch him. I thought some of the skits were pretty good though, the first Duke Nukem forever skit had me in stitches, but by the forth I was bored. All in all, I think its got potential, it was only the pilot, and I don't think any of them are really used to being in front of a camera, so I'll be following it for now at least.
Still reckon Yahtzee is more consistently funny week in week out than pretty much most other 'internet comedy' out there. This week's Sonic the Hedgehog one was hilarious.
3 boring losers presenting a show and trying to be funny is instant fail. He was funny at the start, but when he finally revealed himself he just become "another" person to be honest, and he seems the most boring person ever so it makes it even worse. He should of stuck to his game reviews and be known as a "voice".
Well, first off game TV is just wrong - everything has failed before and this will too. The two aussies annoy the hell out of me and are not funny. Yahtzee reminds me of guys that can be hilarious but are complete weirdos that make you uncomfortable after 5 minutes. The sketches were funny however.
i didnt even crack a smile. That was dire, yahtzee was his usual sardonic, sarcastic, hate filled self, but thats only funny in small concentrated doses. The guy in middle looked like an potty trained labradoodle, and the guy on the end look like he had just escaped from an asylum.
Patrick Moore Cheesecake!! Thought it was OK. Good attempt, they're all poor in front of the camera. Yathzee should stick to ZP.
I have no idea why, but watching it a day after it just seems so much better, of course without the crappy MGS jokes and all that, it could become quite a good show...
Didn't like it, made me cringe in a bad way. 3 people with faces for radio... (ok, podcasts and animations, but you get the idea.)
