Games and 5.1 Dolby

    I'll probably get laughed at for this but... I plan to build some new speakers for my comp and I'm wondering, do modern games, like Call of Duty and Doom3, use surround sound or are they just in stereo? I dont use my comp to watch DVD's or the like so if games only use stereo it'd be a waste to build more than 2 speakers.

    Most of the newer ones do. Some really benefit from it like Doom 3.
