Windows Games for Windows

If I bought a 'Games for Windows' game second hand, would it still track achievements? Or are games linked to the first PC that had them?

You can, providing the person hasn't used up all the activations (there's a set number per game).

 

Cheers, any idea on how many there are per game, and whether they've all been used?

 

Depends on the game, and I don't think there is a way to tell, I could be wrong though
