the last 2 Anno games have been underwhelming and crap so I'm champing at the but for this to be good, its looking it so far.
Oh no they made it Woke! (Someone, somewhere, probably) Apparently the second angriest person in the Imperium is a Sister of Battle.
I'll be honest, I'm so sick of this woke bull5h1t that I'm usually the first to call it out or show disdain, but in this instance, I'm all for it. The Sororiroritoras have been around as long as I can remember and were due some development and expansion and this fits in with the wider universe of things and their sort-of-recent GW product line push. I will however draw the line at female space marines, but that's just because that doesn't seem to work or gel with my childhood memories of 40K (although I'm sure I heard during one of these online fanboy rows that they do exist in some aspect, not that I have to agree with that) and they don't need to have female EVERYTHING just for appeasement's sake. There are female Guard, Dark Eldar, normal Eldar, Necromundan gangers (in fact, one whole gang of young ladies if memory serves), I've yet to see a lady Necron or Tyranid (although who can be sure with the latter - has anyone got close enough to check? Saying that, I do see the Hive Mind as a mother figure), there are categorically no Princess Orks (again from memory, unless it's changed - I thought they were all born from spores) and I've not seen a Khornate Berserkerbabe as at time of writing. Time and a place and each to their own, I say. Pointless trying to force a view on everyone. But I do like warrior women with white hair, facial tattoos, undying loyalty and two weapons (the military kind).
Hugely looking forward to this, gives off Alien Isolation, immersive sim vibes. Routine - Official Release Window Trailer | gamescom 2025
That does look good. Graphics have come a loooong way since Doom (apart from on that guy's handheld).
Still no meaningful news about the upcoming release (allegedly) of Elder Scrolls 6. Based on my family history, I have about 16 years left, so which will come first, ES6 or my expiry?
Not an FPS, it's Mass Effect-a-like. I imagine there will be similar weapon and skill tree progression, and hopefully the zero g mechanics are handled well. Another video with more detail:
Oh, and another game from the original Mass Effect creators: This will hopefully combine the excellent story crafting of the original Mass Effect Trilogy with the gameplay of of Andromeda.
The book for Exodus, by Peter F Hamilton is really good. Looking forward to the hand, and the second book of course
