Gaming Games that should be remastered

Diablo... its great as it is... but would be even much more magnificent with stunning new real 3d graphics.

i sooo agree with fall out!! i have been dying for that to remade

puleeezz if there are any developers out there.. please consider star craft.. or war craft..

also .. if your a movie / video game producer.. email me and ill share my idea for a movie/video game with story board within the star craft world..

how can i forget that, it was along with the likes of diablo, half life, cs generation... ahh those days were good! And I want all those games to be remastered (half life one is being remade, the storyline I mean, and I cannot wait to play it!)

 

Fallout and starcraft, fallout more than anything else though. Bring the graphics up to company of heroes standards and give a little widescreen support to both of them and I would be happy. And if fallout 2 was properly finished up it would be even better.

Just cant wait for fallout 3 to get started, as long as bethesda dosent F*** it all up. One of the greatest things about fallout 1&2 is how violent and funny it was all at the same time. The huboligists really crack me up.

 

id love for there be two versions of fall out..

one that is totally unrestricted.. adult version..

and one kiddie version..

I konw the developers wanted to go "farther" with fallout 2 back in teh day but for whatever reason.. probably political or economical they didnt..

 

Ultima V Remake

I agree that an Ultima VII remake would be awesome....but there's already something out there that's darn close! An Ultima V remake called Lazarus, done "in the style" of Ultima VII (play it and you'll see what I mean). It's a total conversion mod done with the Dungeon Siege engine. If the idea of a reborn Ultima VII appeals to you, you'll probably want to check this out.

I played lot of ELITE (BBC Micro tape version) and the current game that keeps closest to the spirit is probably X3.

 

Altually just remembered one for the PC that had something: Terra Nova

 

a good list. I'm so sady that I still have my copies of System Shock 1 & 2 in my collection but can't play them any more.

Another remake I'd love to see (although a bit of an underdog) is Quarantine, it was like doing taxi missions in GTA 3 with riot mode on.

 

That's a fairly good idea about that Lazarus version of Ultima.
I'm sure if I had the time and skills I would be doing a NWN or Dungeon Siege mod like that.
I loved that entire series. Started playing Ultima on the NES.

MOO2 was one of the best strategy games ever made.
In fact I still play it sometimes and is the only game currently installed on my school laptop!

Another strategy game that I'd love to see updated was Master of Magic.
iirc it's by the same people.
Almost as good, if not better in some ways, as MOO2 for replayability.
chaos magic rocks.
(Halflings are one of the best races too!)

That was a good game too.

How about the Monkey Island series remastered with some cool 3d graphics ?

 

one game I recently rediscovered was European Air War, which was made by Infogrames back in the windows 95 days.

It has one of the best Ally/Enemy wingman AIs that I've ever seen, and excellent mechanics and balance, but is let down by the graphics. With a few tweaks and a redo of the graphics it would probably rate in the top 3 out of all the WWII aircraft sims.
