Um not sure what their worth, the 2 purples are old but the rotting flesh is brand new only a month old not used it yet. Paints are what 2.30 each, so 3 would be 6.90, then what ever postage is. Has your friend tried a local hobby craft as they will likely have the old paints still.
three more fatties to go and then im going to start the ironblaster... this is one of my favourite ogres in terms of facial expression...
Just got some of my first p3 paints, from what I can tell so far, these things are absolutely amazing, plus alot better value than the gw ones. Fyi if anyone wants any p3 stuff gifts for geeks are selling them at £2 a pot with free postage
Gw used to use p3 ages ago, im not sure how well they compare up against the new gw line. Most paints will be cheaper then gw, just the way they are priced.
Got myself some of that liquid green stuff today but the fact I haven't used a brush for almost 10years really shows. Wish that Gifts for geeks sold the heavy pigment Vallejo paints.
Got four Necron Lychgaurds fully magnetised now, need some more magnets though to do the fifth though as I used four of them for a tomb spyder who's middle legs would not stick. Pics when the glue has dried on the fourth. Lychgaurd2 by Cerberus90, on Flickr
So after a month and a half my Wyches and Warriors have finally hit the "primer" stage. Just need to wait for my paints to arrive then I'll get some WIP pics up. @Lira - Does your misses by any chance have some spare nid claw arms she'd be willing to part with for swaps or monies. Since DE Khymera are almost £9 a piece, I thought I'd buy a box of hounds and add something to make them less houndie. @Cerberus what size magnets did you use on their arms for that?
I've been lurking about these forums for some time and this thread has helped me get impetus back up for a major gaming project for mine: Chaos Renegades!. Without further ado here's some pictures! (Taken on a friend's gaming board & only decent picture i can dig up) And my current painting table occupier: The last thing I completed: Sorry for the picture spam but figured i'd post something instead of just lurking (poor cameraship included!)
I don't believe she does, Smellyhead, we've been buying bits sites out of them to finish off her collection of warriors and whatnot. Those chaos renegades are looking nice, Deact, and the misses would be very jealous of the Hierodule! I've seen that instructable before, Ian, it's actually jam packed with really good info - A lot of it is going to be used when I get to the body of my SM costume. Fortunately not got so much height to gain as that chap (Sixteen inches is no simple task!), only around six to eight (Taking me to around seven-seven foot two depending), which I can lose in the costume itself. Figuring about four in the feet, two in the body, and a couple in the helmet.
Basecoated and shaded another bull last night.. Given this guy a gun from my second mornfang kit... The gut plate was done with one on the new gw mettalics - runelord brass... its quite bling but i like it.... By the way - i like your nids deact - the claws remind me of the soldier bugs in starship troopers,,
Thanks for the nice compliments. Loving your bulls there Phil and I'm glad the Starship Troopers vibe came through on the 'Nids as that was the intention....all those triangles..... Hope to do some more work on them once I've finally finished the Renegades. Liratheal, looking forward to seeing what you end up posting next!
Nice minis deact. Your nids should of met my starship trooper themed IG before I sold them. Flesh looks good Phil, your orges makes me want some.
the flesh on the last model i posted was just a base coat of tallarn flesh followed by an all over wash of ogryn flesh.. did the final highlights last night just need to paint up the gun tonight ang its done.
All looking good as usual, Phil! Just picked up some GW buildings (admittedly not from GW), need some drainpipe and I'll be on my way to having what I need for AoP >.> done some work on the large scale space marine.. Flash is not my friend: However, most of those are deliberate weathering marks, not just flash!
I bought a couple of stormtalons >.> Going to chop them up so they look less like, as the lady said, "The pugs of the 40k universe" (I may have paraphrased that).
