They're genestealers, the colour choice is simple....
Blue and purple, the only way they should be
Super macro zooooooooom:
A shot of the Warlord Titan head...
I wish there was something next to it to give an idea of the scale.
I got two of the assassins finished:
Although I have just spotted from the super zoom picture above that I missed a buckle on the harness. Nevermind, I'll get that when I get in tonight.
Looking very nice indeed dude!
Is it insane to pay 95 sterling for a copy of Necromunda (yes, I'm obsessed at the moment)....
Those assassins look the tits dude!
Also, for scale on the warlord.. WE've seen how big the volcano cannon is next to a standard marine, we've also seen how big the volcano cannon is next to a picture of the head..
I'm putting money on 2-2.5ft tall depending on posing.
All this talk about Necromunda, has made me hanker for a copy of Space Hulk... damn you!
I have my Space Hulk copy and absolutely adore it. The quality of what they produced was impeccable
Thanks buddy, just working on the Culexus now
Talk suggests the Warlord will be shown off this weekend at the re-opening of warhammer world.
Do you have the original or re-issue version?
I got the limited edition re-release one. The card sections are unbelievably heavy and well made, as are the models. I'm rather glad that I have this one and not the old one.
Don't get me wrong, the original is an absolute classic, but they just did a really good job with this.
If they were to re-release Mordheim and Necromunda as limited editions, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.
Threw caution to the wind, it's mine now Hopefully have it by next week.
What actually comes in the boxed game? I used to love reading the "battle reports" in white dwarf... but never got into it. Was playing mainly fantasy at the time, and none of my mates were interested.
It's a complete set, so rulebook (already have the newer one and Outlanders), sourcebook, measures, dice (good ol' sustained fire!), a gang of Orlocks and Goliath (original plastics), 30 Bulkheads (looking at securing 6 more on a sprue to duplicate), multiple card buildings (couple slightly damaged, but have this in hand) few other odds and ends.
Silly money, but to hell with it, it's my favourite game system that I've played from GW and I never had the money to get it before, so this is my treat to myself.
SO jealous right now.
Now you've got me looking for a copy...
Keep an eye on this one then:
Watching! oh my poor bank account
Damn it guys you've made me go raking through cupboards! Found my scenery, and Eschers (the lady's of the perpetually unpainted... something), no sign of rulebooks though...
Now to get some dettol to re-start the poor paint job I started once upon a time...
Since GW were giving away all the rules for their Specialist games, I downloaded them all and turned them into a zip file. It's available to all here:
