I would be so tempted - if I had the skill - to model fill-channels in that honeycomb structure and fill it with resin after the print.

it wouldnt be to difficult to do tbh, since the bottom is flat you could likely get a paper printout of the infill pattern, drill a small hole in the flat base and use a syringe for the resin

Folks, I'm looking to get back into 40k after a long hiatus, where's the best place to buy stuff now?

Also struggling with what to play, I have space wolves and grey knights but I kinda want something new. What are Tau, Thousand sons or the Custodes like at the minute?

The limited amount of stuff that I've bought recently has all been through GW themselves. I bought one box of Aggressors from Wayland, but it took forever to actually arrive. GW shaft 3rd party sellers on stock, so you can be waiting ages to get the models you spent 10% less on.

Current rumour mill on BoLS is that Abaddon will be getting a new model dropped in November.

I'd still like to see a new Ghaz as well, but seems unlikely now.

I have heard whispers of a Redemptor sized Ghaz in the works, but that the Ork releases have been plagued by delays, hence the re-boxing of resin kits (such as Ghaz, the Kommandos, and Tank Bustas). How reliable this is, I am unsure as even GW staff are largely kept in the dark. I am not sure how it is now, but when I was at the head office, it was only managers that had access to the studio. The level of internal secrecy and over the shoulder looking before saying anything was oppressive.

Almost finished some Trees, just need to put a bit of texture paint around the final tree on the left to hide the join in the plastic and paint the stonework the tree is growing around and the rope around the trunk/branches and finally stick some patches of static grass in the muddy areas to stop it being too... brown (although the slate does help break it up a bit).

If Necrons could feel nervious, I imagine that one would be feeling it now.
