Is it painted or is it printed In colour ??

Tbh this is one thing I might grab as It did look ok. Begs the question of why. Maybe to get ppl in games more scenery I guess people ain't as attached to as there ** army**

I'll want to see it in person tbh. I'm more interested in next year 40years of 40k I hope they do something big. But if it's bring back a dead Primarch or the Big E I'll be disappointed. I kinda want it to be Valdor comes back with his boots if mighty ass kicking. Or bring back my OG army Legion of the Dammed. Yes they where OP but make them more Kill team style less army styl:wallbash:

if its the same technology ive been following its basically a desktop printer, that is printing in UV ink, onto the plastic surface but im not sure of the exact tech GW is using, i think we will have to wait and see

I ordered some items from bitsandkits website I normally use bitsbox never had an issue. It's a week ago today I placed my order and it's still not shipped I emailed them Thursday for an update had no reply.. do I now look at getting PayPal involved looking online they have gone from positive reviews to 1 star reviews... Or do I give them more time.. a week seams excessive for something showing in stock and they used to state they shipped within a day. Also the direct email has disappeared and the website keeps failing to load. Annoying as I can't find the bits I'm after else where.

Took some Orks into work to have a snip and build during lunch and I guess they do call it plastic crack for a reason...

I was going back and forth on which of the new Ork bits I wanted and I kept getting closer and closer to the price that I was seeing for the full Ork half, especially with a discount voucher that popped up so I thought why not and grabbed the lot. Built a couple of the characters last night, not too sure on the weirdboy but I'm really liking the Bigboss now that I have him in hand. The warboss is a little disappointing, so he may get some kitbashing because I think he may need an obnoxious power klaw or something similar.

one thing i didnt like about him ,and most of the new orks is the move away from the heroic proportions to a more 'real' look
his body is HUGE which is great, but his hands and head are tiny compared to the older warboss and even nobz, heck even some of the old boyz have bigger hands and heads than the warboss from the Armageddon box, so i might be taking him apart and enlisting my printer to scale his hands up a tad

Are we still on for a social pint next week btw ? the room went a little silent when we couldnt book a table

I'm on standby, bud. A lot is going to depend for me on what happens on the 9th. Whether life starts to look brighter or I have to be stopped from doing something daft.

Another 2 done, at nearly 30 years old these kits stink, the plastic was awful, it was either too brittle or this ABS/rubber/**** that you could'nt cut/sand, the rubber cowling for the joints was too thick and covered in seams and I gave up with them and ended up cutting/painting the fingers of nytrol gloves instead, on the plus I managed to bag two sets of the old electronics to make the shoulder lights chase (very VERY cool in the dark) but even then the electrics were so old and fragile I had to resolder them twice. on the plus I manged to find someone in japan with at original 1/35 command car kit so that's on its way and i'm betting it'll be just as stinky, Once that's done I'll knock up a nice diorama base for the 3 of them.

I’ll double-check wiv me bruvver later this evening, but I should still be good even if he isn’t . Can’t guarantee I’ll be there for dead on 10 though, got a bit of a slog to get there .

Though I’m afraid I will add the massive caveat that I may have to change plans at the last minute.

We’re house-hunting right now, so viewings are taking priority over any other plans I might want to make…

    Sorry, I should’ve updated…!

I’m good for this weekend, both me and my brother. Still can’t guarantee I’ll be there for 10am though, it’ll be more like 1030-1130ish - it’s a 3hr drive up there, without accounting for traffic or charging stops (which depends on how lead-footed I am!)

    @lilgoth89 @Almightyrastus @Kehoe @Byron C @ModSquid

Hey chaps, I'm going to have to give this a miss. The combination of flu (and I think I have a bacterial infection on top) and the heat & humidity has wiped me out this week and shows little to no improvement. I'm now hoping I'll be okay by Monday, when my "break" from the world is over :sigh:,

I'm a bit annoyed as I was the one who suggested it in the first place and was looking forward to finally meeting some of my fellow Bit-Techers.

Booo, hope you feel better soon.

Well, I’m still gonna be heading up, it’s a big deal for my brother and he can’t get up there unless someone drives.

@lilgoth89, @Almightyrastus, @Kehoe, @ModSquid - let me know if you guys are still heading over, I’ll drop y’all a message in the morning to keep you up to date.

that sucks man, im hoping the weather eases up by tomorrow, but i do have a nice fan i can use on the train to take the edge off

i need to pop down as with the Armageddon box my overflow for empty sprue has become full, so i have an entire bag of empty sprue to stuff into their recycling

-Edit, i just checked the train times and... Damn i have delays, cancellations and rail replacement busses across the board
looks like the eariliest train i can get into Nottingham isnt until 10.50 and from there is a long walk to WHW
