Did a bit of shopping myself yesterday , picked up a new box of ogres to keep me busy till i go back to work on the 9th...... also picked up a stippling brush some paint supplies, also couldn't resist a pack of those new ready made grass tufts,

    http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat470007a&prodId=prod1390052a

got to say they are awesome... no more faffing around with pva and trying to get static grass to stand up , just peel off the clump and stick it on to the finished base with a dab of glue... awesome...

    New pics with grass clumps!

btw , what do you think of the little gnoblars... i found these guys really tough to paint as the detail on these smaller plastic models is a bit vague...

btw also picked up some of that polyweld glue... fantastic stuff...

My Space Marine Tactical Squad arrived today - hooray!

I'm not a gamer, just a modeller, and want to depict a few of the Space Marines advancing in a small vignette.

I thought it would be cool to have a dead Ork lying face down in the foreground, and/or a couple of abandoned choppas or shootas.

So - does anyone have a single Ork I could buy off them please?

I can chop and convert the figure to get the pose I'm looking for.

    Thanks if you can help.

Ive decided to build a 'Kompletely Kroot' army, they seem ripe for some interesting conversions so ive just ordered some carnivores and some elven steeds for the first experiment.

I have a couple of these:

If you want one I'll try and dig them out for you.

Those Ogres are still looking lovely Phil, I take it those tufts are the newish GW tufts, rather than patches of static grass?

Done some work on the RS stuff today - The pictures are better than usual because I borrowed my ladyfriends camera >.> :

Yes, that is a Terminus Ultra. I had a somewhat horrible realisation when I saw the kit - I can make a second Terminus Ultra kit with the stuff in my bitz box :/

I added a little "power box" onto the part where the radar normally goes, and used some Zinge Industry power cabling to attach to the turret mounted lascannons.

That would be great - thanks! :)

An arrow wound can easily become a bolter wound.

If you do find the figure, please send me a PM and let me know how much you want for the fig & postage.
