Well I had a day off yesterday so I got a bit of work done one a new mini. This is still a WIP so keep in mind i still have a few bits to do on him. Also he will have a jump pack I just have to finish that before he gets it.
Looks like a good start man, chop chop now! Put together a librarian with jump pack using some Astorath The Grim bits:
Built up 5 Sword Brethren from the Grey Knights and BT bits set and seriously, what is up with left arms and bolt pistols? I had 1!! Another had to be made up from a bolter left arm lopped off at the wrist as did a few of the sword arms. I still have a few details and a bucket load of purity seals and stuff to add but here they are so far: Grey Knight heads, backs (cut down aegis hoods), legs and swords with BT shoulder pads, bolt pistols and body fronts. A couple of the shoulder pads are Grey Knight ones with either no iconography on in the first place or had it filed off and smoothed out. More pics when they have some colour on will be put up later.
I've found that ogryn flesh is a great wash for shadows in red... used it in the trousers on my latest ogre wip (as well as the flesh)
any of you know any good places to buy bits form looking for parts to add some stuff to my guys as got 12 more death company marines to build

model bits is very very good I've used it before myself. Ordered some large shoulder pads from maxmini.eu for my space wolves. I blood love these things.
Ooo that's a beast of a figure with those on (not that they aren't without them but...). Must resist the Space Wolves though, they were the first marines I got into and the newer models are just so full of nice. Unfortunately their iconography is so unique that there is nothing that I could transfer over to my Templars. Blood Angels and Dark Angels on the other hand........ Oh my poor wallet.
I always liked Space Wolves, that model looks like a beast of a wolf. Is that mould lines i see on the shield and bolt gun? or is that just discolouration resulted from filing it away, cant tell in the pic
Im trying to finish off my eldar army at current, unforuntely to finish it off i need Eldar Rangers (finecast) Howling Banshees (finecast) 2 War walkers 1 Wraithlord 1 Waveserpent 2 Warpprisms All together about 180 pounds worth of stuff to get, tanks alone are about 90 odd pounds. Breaks the bank so not really much funds for a new army though its very tempting. Still got my un-opened space marine boxes 2 tactical marines and 1 assult termiantors if anyone is interested. Need to raise funds for the above list.
If I still had my intact Banshees I'd trade with you. I'll have a look around my bits, might have a few pointy-ear things lying around.
Look at ordering fron darksphere. I got £170 of vampire counts stuff for about £130 from them last nov, savings are still good ordering small things but the postage can null out the savings so i tend to order in bulk
A couple of the BT players around me use BT upgrade sprues with SW boxes - There is a lot of work in undoing the SW-yness, but they do look phenomenal.
Hmmm, we shall see. I really do love the look and feel of the Space Wolves, the whole Norse thing is right up my street (hence the avatar...) but I see the Templars as more of a medieval knight kinda thing and not the sort of guys that would go in for furs, bones and teeth.

Phil I want to see your take on Gazguhll please loads of metal and some orky goodness. On a side not at the end of the month I'm bicking up the black reach box to bulk out my blood angels army. So I too will be on the orky band wagon
