I know it's totally irrelevant, but Hiren...that guy in your av looks alarmingly like Barney Calhoun. Who is it?
twighlight princess, only because the wii is hooked up to the tv at home, so i never get a look in (and i'm not at home anymore) the witcher, for very good reasons (like sanity) deus ex, mainly because it's on my EEE and everytime i fancy gaming on it i choose unreal t goty, just so easy to pick up and frag psychonauts, don't have enough of summat to buy summat i need, will get back to though parasite eve 2, scares the crap out of me, or it did when i last played it 6 years ago and for all those saying max payne, sort it out, them games are fantastic.
Amazingly it's actually Harry Butler our editorial stooge: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2008/08/i34-event-coverage/27.JPG
Final Fantasy 1/2/3/7/8/9/10/12/CC (GBA/DS/PS2/GC) (they take so long I get side tracked by newer games). Baton Kaitos (GC) Enchanted Arms (360) Deus Ex Condemned (I'm on the last level) Viewtiful Joe (GC) Halo 2 and quite a few others that I've lost track of.
+1 i always, always, tell my self i'll 100% a GTA. I've brought guides, read up on the internets, but never managed it. I tend to finish every game no matter how bad (i'm looking at you RB6:LV and FC2), but sometimes, as the saying goes, familiarity breeds contempt. The grass always seems greener, and other such similar proverbs.
I got 100% in GTAIV took around 60 hours but nothing too hard just boring bits and time consuming. 200 pigeons to shoot was the most annoying part. I gave up on crackdown then went back to it and realised i had taken on the islands in the wrong order and was making life incredibly hard on myself and ended up finishing it, was actually my highest gamescore in a single game for a while have to finish HitmanBloodMoney im never going back to just cause halo3 i didnt really enjoy it then my save curropted but have to go back. slinter cell double agent just got stuck on a level
I'm stuck on Blood Money, on that Opera House level with the two people to kill (the performer, and the man watching the rehearsal who enjoys the performer as a rent boy). I made no headway whatsoever, every course I took ended with me being stampeded by a herd of angry bodyguards. Mind you, that's my experience of most hitman games. +1 for psychonauts, though I didn't run out of generic currency I just got bored. The pace kinda drops off towards the end.
want to know about the opera level? Spoiler in that opera scene your supposed to get a handgun at the very beginning in the reception and swap it with a fake on in the actors dressing room, the he shoots the target for you, i spent ages wandering aound to figure dat out
What about 4/5/6? Oh and tactics, that was really good apparently, shame it never saw daylight over here I've managed to pretty much fully complete 7 and 8, 8 was the first I managed to complete, not played it since, man that was years ago. 7 I have completed 2 or 3 times now. 12 I have barely started, and I'm calling a moral victory with 10, I got to the second last boss on my first play (a very rare occurrence for me, rarely do I play through an entire game like this first time, I usually restart) through but he was far too tough to beat. 9 is the one I'm currently working on, I do really like 9, at first I wasn't so keen, but I think it's probably the best in the series. Lets see, I'll put down a list of some I need to do: Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth Riddick (probably gonna wait for the 360 remake+more for this) Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts Neverwinter Nights 2 and expansion (pretty much given up with this) The Witcher (same as NWN) Eternal Sonata (barely started, return of save point system after playing Enchanted Arms put me off) Mass Effect, completed the story with most of the side quests done, but I want to get all the achievements Overlord following the good path Want to do some more on Dead Rising Fallout 2 Fallout 3 Planescape Torment Beyond Good and Evil Deus Ex Deus Ex 2 Need to do more on Burnout Paradise Psychonauts Futurama Phoenix Wright games (apart from the first) A load of other DS games similar to PW, like that film noir one Kanes Wrath (can't get it to work, doesn't like my graphics card) 100% on GTA IV Condemned 2 Oblivion Morrowind for that matter, but I have banned myself from this game Viva Pinata 2 L4D on Expert + a few more on my PS2 that I can't remember as that's all in Cardiff + loads more games, both old and new, that I don't even own yet.
Assassins Greed. I really want to finish it, but I am completely stuck! Tried the same scene for a week and no chance in hell I can do that. Boss guy in the end plus 5 Templers plus Archers plus random guards........
Just finsihed AC after borrowing it from my brother (Counter kills with the hidden blade is the way to go). The only tasks I have left to do are all flags in kingdom (4 left which I can't find) and kill all templars, which I don't think I can be bothered to do. I didn't think I had those - turns out I've got 6 and not 3 (will have to get the DS version) I/II I've got on the GBA (same cartridge I think) VI/VII/VIII/IX on the PS1 X(X2)/XII on the PS2 XII: Revenant Wings on the DS and CC on the GC. I've got to complete that too. Just finished re-reading the novel that came with it.
All the Half Life 2 stuff, after completing HL1 I thought I'd love two, nice engine shame about the game, just seemed dumbed down and easy, bored me, never really knew why it was revered so highly, they sit there on my Steam account and I think I should really complete them as everybody thinks they are good so I must of missed something. FF12 put some serious hours in but now with little one I don't seem to have the time, ditto for God of War, Shadow of the colossus, MGS4 and GTAIV, they sit on the shelf waiting for that one day when I have a good few hours to burn.
I never got around to finishing GTA: San Andreas. I just HATE gta's lack of quicksaving and having to restart missions from the very beginning regardless of how far you got into it.
My god there have been so many over the years... Recently: Oblivion... had to restart, then I moved on. Still have it - unlikely to ever play it again. DMM&M - it didn't run very well under steam on Vista x64, but installed indepentently and I could play it OK, but by the time I'd done that, newer games had come out. Assassins Creed - disk was faulty, so got it replaced by Ubisoft, but took a while, and by the time I got it back, I wasn't so bothered. As for Elite, I can't remember why I stopped (probably bust my C64), but I don't think I made it past Big Girls Blouse - certainly nowhere near Elite.
OH, and lest we forget - the Prince of Persia games. NEVER completed one, they're so gruelling. It's like a ten-hour combined IQ and endurance test
