Yeah I know. Especially good cause it was free!!

    Other things I forgot:

    Logitec Wingman Joystick
Saitek Gamepad w/rumble (great pad and a damn good price!!)
Mousepad my friend made for me
Compaq Presario M2000 Laptop that (even though I am typing on it right now) when at home runs a game server for my home network (CS 1.6, TFC, RTCW:ET, UT:GOTY and other older games that run great on this thing)
Sound Blaster Audigy (old school (2001) and still alive, kicking and pumping out great sound)

I think that is all, but I am probably wrong as I am not at home at have no ida what exactly is in my desk....

    Lets see ...

Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame circular mouse pad - I couldn't go anywhere without it
My 10 dollar Microsoft laser mouse - love this too, although I would like to try a g5 or mx510
A Gateway keyboard (no idea what manufacturer)
My Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback wheel & peddles
Altec lansing 2.1 speakers that I "took" from work
My Zalman surround sound headphones (for when I need to be quiet)
And my crappy mic that came whith my gateway 7 years ago

I use a logitech mx desktop set (the one with the mx700 mouse)
yamaha amp to sony book shelf speakers or sennheiser hd595 headphones.
Running on a 32" LCD TV at 1366x768.

I was a bit sceptical how well games would run on the LCD TV but it's nice to not have to sit at a desk to play and when you are sitting 2 metres away from the screen rather than 1 foot the res is fine.

    Here's what I use:

    1 Planar 15" LCD (25ms response and 1024 x 768 max res)
    1 Samsung 20.1" 204B LCD (supposed 5ms at 1600 x 1200 max - connected to an ATi x1800XL)
    1 Logitech MX518
1 Razer Diamondback shifty green/purple (I change the mice often because of hand cramping issues)
    1 Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4K
    1 pair of Sennheiser HD555's & 1 Creative SBS580 (cheap 5.1 speakers) - both connected to a Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic
1 refurbed Logitech Freedom 2.4 wireless joystick
1 Logitech Cordless Rumble Pad 2
1 Microsoft Xbox 360 wired controller
    1 Wolfclaw Warrior keypad
    1 Plantronics USB headset
    1 Saitek Nostromo n52

2 Nice 5' long brown powdercoated metal desks with an extra file cabinet unit for my PC (that makes around 12' of desk space :jawdrop: )

I don't keep everything connected 24/7 - I just keep it handy so I can use it if needed.

Modded Saitek Gamers keyboard with the rubbish keypad (that I dont use) and useless software (that I dont bother with). Fantasic keyboard otherwise. Love that it's flat.

Saitek Cyborg Evo joystick. Given to me by a friend. Love all the adjustable bits; buttons right where I need them.

Logitech MX500. Showing its age but I can't part with it. Thought about going G5 but they got rid of the second thumb button. Fairly severe deal breaker and I'm not the only one that hasn't bought one for the same reason.

Steel Series Steel Pad. Thought it was just a bit of marketing until I owned one. Can't mouse on anything else now.

Everglide s-500 gaming headphones. Love em.

Sennhieser P180 headset. Hangs on my neck...kinda odd that these Sennhiesers are now nothing more than I mic to me.

When I could care less about the people next door,a Panasonic SU-361 and a pair of SU-237's. Old as I am and I've yet to find a single reason to replace them. Designed my new desk around these speakers (project comming soon).

One of my favorite bits of gaming 'gear' is a direct fiber optic connection. Sub 10ms ping *** ;)

Lastly, and definatly most importantly, a good group of friends to frag with.

I personally play with a Logitech G5 Laser mouse with all the heavy weights in apart from the middle 2 which are empty on the 1600dpi setting with a in game mouse sensitivity of 3.67 with windows acceleration turned off.

With regards to the keyboard I have tried various other brands and top end models from Saitek and Logitech and I keep going back to the standard Logitech keyboard, simple and cheap @£9 cant complain.

Mouse mats i have been through lots and lots and i have found to prefer cloth mats over various other types such as ice mats and plastic mats, so at the moment I use the DKT Megamat (HUGE Pad) and find it suits my sensitivity and the way I move the mouse accross the pad.

Headset it depends on the type of game im playing if im playing Quake 4 1v1 Duel then i prefer to play with a pair of Sennheiser HD650 DJ head phones mainly because they are an enclosed headset covering the ear completley, meaning that you hear everything from the game and nothing else, on the other hand there are times I prefer to play with my Sennheiser pc150's just depends on my moody and the type of game im playing.

How much do you pay for the fiber connection? That cannot be cheap!

I don't pay for it. I work at a LAN center (T1 just wasn't enough for us) and one of the perks is that I'm not always 'working' ;)

There is actually a small yet growing area here where residential service for fiber is available. I live about two miles north of that area but who knows, maybe it'l grow up here. I'm told the residential rates, unlike our commercial line, are quite affordable.

You are a lucky person. The fastest 'net we can get in Montana is 5mb cable :wallbash:

Just bought a ratzpad. Way better then a normal mousepad. Can't believe I waited so long to get one.
