    Hi guys,
Has anyone here had previous experience with gaming on a Nvidia Quardo GPU?
Reason i ask is i'm interested in a new laptop a Dell Precision M6400 Covet.
Dell Precision M6400 Covet | Laptops | Reviews | PC Pro

It features a Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M 1GB (basically a 128 core version of the 9800GTXM which only has 112 cores)
I want this laptop for not only gaming but for Solidworks CAD design which will fully utilise the GPU's Hardware to render the models, instead of using software render as it would do with just a standard GPU.

Notebookcheck: NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700M shows that the GPU scores 5053 Points in 3dmark Vantage, but I would like to hear of any real world experiences with people gaming on Quadro GPUS, so please post below.
Also people say they give poor quality also to videos, DVDs etc as there not made for this purpose?
Thanks for any help in advance

Well, it all depends on the drivers. From what I have read, it seems that the Quadros force AA; you can always use alternative third-party modded drivers, however.

That Precision, though. Stunning looking thing.

You can install Geforce drivers, to have your graphic card optimized for gaming rather than CAD, It's not a magical direct conversion, your Quadro will still be a Quadro, but instead of having everything focused on CAD'ing, it will be on gaming, your GPU will still be able to do AA faster and draw more polygones.

I don't know about forced AA. On my laptop I have the Quadro NVS, and AA is not forced using the Quadro drivers or Geforce ones.

Listen to GoodBytes and ignore my post, he's explained it better and in more detail, and has first-hand experience on the matter :)
