    Imagine how it "emboldens the enemy" if the US commits more troops and more years to this disaster and still has to give up... better to feign a loss of interest now.

    The president and congress aren't husband and wife, and Iraq is not their child.

    Yeah I dont see how sending more troops into what is already a total failure is going to help anything. Even Bush's own commanders confirm that Iraq is a disaster in military planning and initiative.

    Follows suit with Bush's other plans of throwing some troops or money at the problem will make it go away..at least hes consistent with his More of the Same approach to international crisis.

    My vote is to cut our losses and end this disgrace. Iraq is now just like the rest of the middle east and will continue to fight for decades to come.
