Gaylord the ape.

Can anyone remember the name of that stupid cartoon that had the ape in it who was called Gaylord? My recollection of it is sketchy at best but I'm sure it was real. It was dubbed, but I can't really remember the style of it enough to give any more hints.

Was it just a fictional product of my twisted psyche or was there actually a cartoon gorilla called Gaylord on kids TV?

The only cartoon ape that I know of is Grape Ape

 

He looks gay alright, but he's no gaylord.

Citv sat mornings aprox 6-7 yrs ago i think. Can't find it in google but i got a couple of episodes on tape so i can get a proper year and name for u if u want.
