Gotta love glib nonsense like this.

I await links showing where the British Government has put someone in a cage and burnt them to death.

Do you deny that governments torture and kill people? Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

Not sure about cages and burning people but it's very probable that they're involved in extra-judicial killings (aka murder).

The fact that the Investigatory Powers Tribunal (IPT) made such a mistake speaks volumes about how effective they are in their role as oversight for the SS, how effective secret tribunals are when only one side gets to see and challenge the evidence, how effective are five experienced judges that seemingly didn’t understand the evidence, and wrote a judgement that turned out to be untrue. :duh:

You should know, you've been called out for it often enough. Haven't you been warned for it too?

    Careful now petal. ;)

Begs the question, why Amnesty International? I guess it's a case of watch everything and hope to see something useful.

Probably a case of know thy enemy, lots of civil liberties groups are taking the UK government to court so maybe they thought it a good idea to be forewarned of what the prosecutors were up to.

Oh give me a break! I hate it when people get all party-political.

90 days detention without charge - remember who tried to bring that in? The Conservatives? No, it was the Labour Government. It was the Conservatives, (along with Lib-Dems and rebellious Labour backbenchers) who knocked that little affront to democracy on its head.

Three months in jail, without even the right to know why you were being held, never mind the right to some kind of defence. Think about that for a moment.

The last Labour government brought in tons of undemocratic, overbearing state powers, (and tried and failed to bring in a ton more) so if you think the Conservatives are the only big, bad people in the commons you must not be paying too much attention.

Yeah, because if you don't like GCHQ spying on Amnesty International, you hate children. You don't hate children, do you?

    Seriously, Yadda:
